Mediation:
The two parties meet
voluntarily with the attorney/mediator and the objective
is to help the parties themselves reach a fair
agreement. It is understood that the mediator has no
power to decide disputed issues for the parties, but the
mediator will be able to point out the law.
The mediator does
not represent either party.
The goal of
mediation is to settle as many issues as possible,
keeping the whole family’s best interests in mind. |
